Events At Altons BBQ World

We love getting people out on our BBQ Patio, turning up the music and firing up our grills here at Altons.
It has proved a popular spot over the last few years, with loads of events taking place throughout the Spring and Summer showcasing all the brands we sell and cooking some great food.

We hold our annual Traeger day, Gozney day and LumberJaxe day which have taken place over the past 2 years. And we are constantly adding new events and some evening events which seem to be very popular with you guys.

We have also held quite a few Celebrity evenings with the likes of Diversity, James Buckley, Danny Dyer, Towie, Calum Best, Dan Osborne to name a few.

And keep an eye out on our Instagram account @altonsbbqworld for many off site collaboration events that we do with a number of other businesses including Smoke and Fire Festival and WingFest UK.

Launch Night

Weber Launch Event

Date - Saturday 5th April 2025
Time - 11am till 3pm

Head down and see the guys from Weber Grills cook up a storm here at Altons BBQ World on our patio and outside the front of the shop too.

Try a tasty sample straight from the grill cooked on Charcoal and Gas. From Pizza to Steak you'll love what these BBQs can do.

We will also have Weber experts in the shop to and some special offers on the day as well. So this will be the best time to try before you buy.

We will be heading South to The first annual Smoke Signals event and we cant wait. We will be there selling brands such as Yeti, Gozney, Petromax and more

Perfect for food lovers, BBQ enthusiasts, and outdoor adventurers, this event promises good vibes, delicious flavours, music and inspiration for life around the fire.

Arundel, West Sussex – West Sussex is set to ignite with flavor as it welcomes its first-ever Live Fire & BBQ Festival on April 5th-6th, 2025. Taking place in the historic train yard of Arundel, this two-day event promises an electrifying mix of fire-cooked feasts, top-tier chefs, and live Dj sets, making it a must-visit for food lovers and BBQ enthusiasts alike.

Traeger Day

Date - Saturday 17th May 2024
Time - 10am till 4pm

One of the most popular events of the year, Traeger day is celebrated all over the world where everybody is encouraged to fire up their grills and join in.

We will be on the patio cooking up some traeger goodness on our Ironwood and Timberline models. Including wings, steak, chicken and some other great traeger recipes.

We will also have some classic games to get involved with including our dart challenge, colouring for the kids, baloons and as always the chance to WIN some traeger goodies.

Some make sure you come down and be part of the Traegerhood for the day.

DeliVita Day

Date - Saturday 11th May 2024

Who doesn't love pizza??
Make sure you come along and see our beautiful DeliVita Wood fired ovens in action. These stunning wood fired ovens are fantastic to see when they are live and full of fire.

Marco from DeliVita will be here cooking up Steak, Potatoes, Flatbreads, Chicken and of course Pizza. All with that Italian twist and flavour.

We will also have some great package deals available on the day as well if your looking to get a new addition to the garden.

Summer Jam Event

Date - Saturday 1st June 2024

Who's Ready for a Summer Jam ?

A Brand New event for 2024, that will showcase almost all of the brands that we work with here at Altons BBQ World.

We will have DJ Jay Shep spinning the tunes on our BBQ Patio in the Sunshine (hopefully) with drinks you can purchase including some very special milkshakes that will be available throughout the day.

Then in the BBQ Courtyard will be almost all the Brands we have at Altons including Gozney, Traeger, Yeti, Jd's Hot Honey, Lumberjaxe, DeliVita and more...
They will be cooking, playing games for you to win some cool prizes, raffles, the showcasing of some new products and just generally showing off their brand for you guys to get involved with.

This will be a great day and the first chance outside of our Launch night event to get to see all the brands on one day. So pop down, grab a drink, enjoy the music and spend a Summer Saturday with us at Altons BBQ World

This Ones For the Dads

Date - Saturday 15th June 2024

We will be firing up the BBQs on our patio to celebrate with all the dads out there for Fathers Day.

We will be cooking up some Wings, Also 3,2,1 Ribs, Steak, Sausages and we may even fire up our Pizza ovens.

We might even crack open a few beers for the men while the women go and shop the rest of the store. So if you want to get out and have some food, chill out and grab a beer then this is the place on our Pre Fathers Day Event Patio day.

Foodies Festival Chelmsford

Join us at Hylands Park for Chelmsford Foodies Festival 2024 where we will be joining the Lumberjaxe Boys on the FlavourTown Fire Stage to do demos along with some other great names from the BBQ Scene and of course a special version of our Gameshow Grill or No Grill.

Essex biggest celebration yet of top chefs, tasty food, delicious drinks and live music with Blue, Boyzlife and Symphonic Ibiza.

Watch MasterChef Champions, Michelin-starred and top local chefs cooking their signature summer recipes in the La Española Chefs Theatre.

Gozney Day

We will be firing up our Roccboxes, Domes, and even the brand New Arc on our annual Gozney day.

Some of the members from the Gozney collective will be here spinning pizzas and cooking some great food using these super and stylish ovens.

Also we will be setting up a special "Show us what you can do" Area and you guys can have a go at making your own pizza for us and getting some cool pics!

Plenty of music, Pizza and fun is a given on Gozney day with this cool and vibrant brand.

We will also have some great offers available on the day as well if your looking to get a new Gozney addition to the garden this summer.

Traeger Fest Weekend

A great weekend full of Traeger action, where for the whole weekend we will be cooking up on our grills along with Gaz from the Traeger Demo squad.

And as its a full weekend event we will be doing some bigger cuts like Brisket and Pork Butts. Along with loads of other traeger goodness on our Ironwood and Timberline models. Including wings, steak, chicken and some other great traeger recipes.

We will of course have the music pumping and some fun games for you to get involved with and the chance to WIN some cool Traeger goodies

We are excited to let you know that we will be taking over The Chicken Shed Stage for a 3rd year in a row in London and this year London ONLY.

The world's largest chicken wing festival, Wing Fest, is back at London Stadium for a three-day explosion of pure wing-fuelled excitement. Wing Fest is set to be a mouth-watering event with over 40 wing sellers at the top of their game serving you the best wings the capital has to offer.

We will be on stage doing BBQ demos cooking up some of our best recipes and having plenty of fun with the crowd too. And of course our Gameshow Grill or No Grill will be at the end of every day which gives you the chance to WIN some insane prices.

For a summer experience that’s a cut above the rest, our food festival is a must-visit for families seeking flavourful fun. Scheduled from 17th-18th August, the event highlights include the Great British Open Freestyle BBQ Championships, a myriad of award-winning street food traders, international pitmasters and fire cooks set to elevate your BBQ appreciation.

Our jam-packed programme also includes live music stage with international DJs spinning Afrobeats, old school, US house and 90s-00s R&B.

The Angus & Oink team will be heading to Essex from Scotland for the first time and together we will be cooking up some BBQ Madness out on the patio over the two days to showcase as much of the range as possible.

We have over 60 of their rubs on our wall including the two collaborations we have done together. And for the first time we will try and showcase as many as possible for you guys to come and try.

The evening will take place on the BBQ patio as we will turning it into a graveyard and be firing up the grills to cook up some tasty BBQ food straight from the grill all with a spooky theme.

You will receive drinks on arrival (Beer or Prosecco) and also soft drinks will be available. We will also have spooky games to play including Trick or Treat and more. We will also have our good friend Jay Shep DJing with some ghostly tunes.

We are excited to announce our 4th Annual Fired Up Event on Friday 1st November starting at 7pm. The evening will take place on the BBQ patio as we will be firing up the grills and cooking some tasty BBQ food straight from the grill.

You will receive drinks on arrival (Beer or Prosecco) and also soft drinks will be available.

We will also have a Marshmallow toasting station, sparklers for the kids (and adults) and also this year we will have good friend Jay Shep DJing

The evening will take place on the BBQ patio as we will bring some festive cheer and be firing up the grills to cook up some tasty BBQ food straight from the grill, all with a taste of Christmas Spirit

You will receive drinks on arrival (Beer or Prosecco) and also soft drinks will be available, before we serve the food.

After Dinner, We will then take you all down to our VR Santas grotto ride where you will blast off with dash on his world adventure.

When we get back to the patio it will be time to toast the marshmallows, hand out some presents and sit back and watch the fireworks. We will also have our good friend Jay Shep DJing all night with some holiday classics to keep you all in good spirits.
